Illustrations made over the last few years. The ones I like best, and of which I am most proud. Media used: watercolor, markers, graphite, inks, colored pencils, cut paper, and digital.
A short version of a children's book about a day-trip to the aquarium. KC and Bear take a trip to the aquarium, and get into some mischief on the way. Drawn traditionally, then colored in photoshop. Preliminary study sketches drawn in photoshop.
Characters designed to be in an open world video game (like assassin's creed, but in different parts of the game, you play as different characters). Characters live in a ghost-filled jungle, surrounded by the ruins of their own civilization. They are: a stoic warrior, a malevolent ghost-snake, a crazed shaman, a village girl who collects ghosts, and a noblewoman who is slowly becoming a ghost herself. Characters all drawn and colored in photoshop.
3D Character Design
Designed two characters for a CG Modeling class at school. First character is a space-boy who is followed by a horde of bumblebee drones. The second character is a cyborg. Both designed with intention to rig and animate. First characters were designed on paper, then sculpted, and afterwards re-created using Zbrush and 3ds Max.
Postcards made for fun with my own characters. Marker on watercolor paper.
Barred Woods Design
Designs for a local maple syrup company's logo, labels and t-shirts
Some samples of design work done for class and for freelance projects.
